Why the Euro is failing in one figure

It’s really quite simple: economic conditions are so different across the Eurozone and there is no fiscal union to smooth these differences. IMHO, the probability of the EZ remaining intact is fairly low. The one way they could keep the EZ intact is if policy makers give the European parliament real teeth.
