One of the best ways to promote economic development is through the empowerment and education of young women. I just saw the film Girl Rising, which tells the stories of 9 girls around the world and how they’re improving their lives through education. I recommend going to check it out and thinking more about how we can help improve the situations of such individuals through effective aid policy.
